Ancient Tree Phoenix Dan Cong Mi Lan Xiang – 500-Year-Old Trees
This Phoenix Dan Cong Mi Lan Xiang is harvested from ancient tea trees in the core production area of Chaozhou Phoenix Mountain, with trees aged over 500 years. Ancient tree tea, with its deep-rooted systems, absorbs minerals and nutrients from deep soil layers, resulting in richer inner substances, more complex aroma layers, fuller body, and longer-lasting sweetness. Each leaf carries the essence of time and the terroir of the mountain.
Unique Value of 500-Year-Old Trees
Ancient tree tea is a gift of time. Tea trees aged 500 years grow slowly, yielding scarce but exceptional quality. The leaves are thicker, with higher content of tea polyphenols, amino acids, and other beneficial compounds. The brewed liquor is golden and translucent, with an intense honey-orchid aroma that lingers. The taste is mellow and smooth, with deep throat sensation, strong and lasting sweetness, and excellent brew resistance (over 10 infusions). These are qualities that ordinary tea trees cannot match.
Traditional Craftsmanship, Artisan Made
Strictly following the traditional processing methods of Phoenix Dan Cong, this tea is meticulously crafted by experienced tea masters. From picking to sun-withering, shaking, fixing, rolling, and baking, every step is executed with precision. The tea strips are tightly rolled and evenly shaped, with a dark brown, glossy appearance. The dry leaves present a distinct honey fragrance, which unfolds into floral, fruity, and honey notes upon brewing.
